When you arrive here, you will have to either take charter flight from here or the Arusha Municipal Airport. The other options will be driving from here to the Ngorongoro conservation are. The latter is usually the common option.

The Flight time will be about 45 minutes depending on the airstrip you choose to land at in Ngorongoro conservation area. Driving will take between 5 to 6 hours. The roads are pretty smooth. There are sections that are a bit rough and that are why you are advised to use a 4X4 car.
