This Sibiti River has a length of about 5 kilometers. It connects the Lakes Kitangiri and Lake Eyasi. It’s a man made river or Canal and its one of the few in the world. The river also acts as a border between the Simiyu area and the Singida region in the northern central region of Tanzania.

The river is fed by one tributary. The tributary is called Semu river. The river is part of the larger Lake Eyasi basin.
