You will look out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, gazelles, and many bird species. Morning and afternoon game drives give you good chances to see animals when they are active. All meals and overnight will be at your lodge or camp inside the park.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater drive to Arusha or Moshi

After the game drive and lunch, you will exit the conservation area and drive to Moshi or back to Arusha. This evening is for rest and preparation for the mountain climb.

Day 5 to 11: Kilimanjaro Mountain Climbing

Each day, you will walk for several hours, passing through different zones of the mountain. Accommodation during the climb is in mountain tents set up at designated camps. Meals are prepared by the support team.

Reaching Uhuru Peak is the main goal of the climb. You will start the final ascent very early in the morning. From the summit, you will enjoy sunrise views before beginning your descent using the Mweka Route. On day eleven, you will spend the night at Mweka Camp.
