Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Airport to Moshi
You will be met by your tour guide at the airport who will drive you to your accommodation for the night in Moshi. A town at the base of the Kilimanjaro mountain.
Day 2-9: Climbing Kilimanjaro Mountain
Kilimanjaro mountain located in Tanzania is the tallest mountain in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters above sea level (Uhuru peak). Several routes (7) can be used to climb the Kilimanjaro. These include; Lemosho, Marangu, Umbwe, Machame, Rongai, Northern Circuit and Shira route. Each with different starting elevation levels, sceneries, acclimatization abilities and success rates. We give the chance to choose which route to take you to the summit.
A little help, for this trip we recommend Lemosho route, the Northern Circuit route and or the Machame route. These routes have high success rates and varied beautiful sceneries. Your choice to make. On returning to the base, you will be driven to a hotel in Arusha where you will spend the night. Take time to celebrate your accomplishment.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
From Arusha, after your breakfast you will be driven to Lake Manyara national park. You will embark on a game drive once you reach the park. Look out for the parks’ famous tree climbing lions, giraffes, impalas, hippos, buffalos, monkeys, waterbucks among others. Drive to Lake Manyara which covers the most part of the national park and marvel at the hundreds of pink flamingoes that cover the lakes’ shoreline among other water birds. A treat to bird lovers.
Day 11-13: Serengeti National Park Wildlife Exploration
In the morning, depart Lake Manyara for Serengeti national park. The most popular park in Tanzania, located in the North of the country. Drive to different areas of the endless plains of the Serengeti for a thrilling and adventurous game viewing experience. The Seronera valleys offers great wildlife sightings for the abundance of varied wildlife that inhabit the area all year round. Visit the kopjes for a chance to set your eyes on the rare and endangered black rhinos. Continue of the game drive to have to the chance to see the other members of the big five; elephants, buffalos, leopards and lions. Retire back to your safari camp for dinner and an overnight.
Day 14: Explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area
One of the richest conservation areas in terms of wildlife. You will do on game drives in the crater surroundings, around the crater rim, areas around Lake Ndutu and those west of Gol mountains. On the following day, you will drive into the crater to have a game drive on the crater floor. This vast caldera is home to wide variety of animals (over 25,000 animals) and birdlife (over 500 species). Enjoy the beautiful views of the crater walls and escarpments.
Day 15: Departure – End of Safari
After your breakfast, drive out of the conservation area with last minute game sightings. Keep your camera rolling, you might capture last day game actions.
