Day 1: Pick up from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha in the morning. You will start your journey to Serengeti National Park through the northern safari route. The drive takes about eight hours, with stops along the way to rest and enjoy the countryside views. You will have lunch on the way or at your lodge after arrival.
In the late afternoon, you will go for your first game drive in Serengeti. This is a good time to see animals as temperatures cool down. You may see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Game drives in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will wake up early for breakfast and head out for a morning game drive before sunrise. This is one of the best times to see wildlife, especially predators. You will explore the Seronera area in central Serengeti, which is known for a high number of animals. You may see members of the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, hippos, gazelles, elands, monkeys, and many birds.
